Review
This drama takes you on a whirlwind of emotions: from happiness to anger to sadness; You will feel it all. It’s one of the first Asian dramas that I have watched that’s done that too me. Despite that, it ends on a happy and silly note (for all those who love watching happy endings). This drama feels timeless is it one of my favorite dramas. I can watch it again and again (if I had time). I love the character development, I love the farcical situations, and I love the story.
Characters
- Xin Yi: The female lead of the story is a sticky note girl who gets used and pushed around by everyone. Not the idea personality for an antagonist, but you’ll love the transformation she goes through in the second half of the drama.
- Cun Xi: Describe him in one word: selfish. He does gets trick into this sticky situation and instead of handling it with maturity, he is only concerned about himself. Everything changes the second half where he becomes more mature.
- Dylan: Second Lead Syndrome Victim; continuously friend zoned. He is very wise and good at guiding people in the right direction. And I love his honesty.
- Anna: Cun Xi dancing girlfriend who chooses her career multiple times over him. She learns she can’t have her cake and eat it too.
Story
The story is brilliant (can you tell I like this drama?). I love the struggles of the characters and the quirkiness of it all. The comedy style is screwball–which is my ultimate favorite. It makes the series so much fun and funny, especially in the last few episodes.
Music
I’ve never really care for Mandarin music except Jay Chou, but I actually liked these songs. So thumbs up to the sound track. The first song is the intro. I love the upbeat music and plus it’d be a good karaoke song (actually all these songs would).
This one is my favorite song:
This one is a sad song, but I like it too which is surprising because I typically don’t like ballads.

Questions
- Feng Jiao, Xin Yi’s sister is always at the mom’s house. She has a kid and then two, how come she’s never with them?
- Why is Dylan’s wardrobe limited? He keeps wearing that ugly paisley shirt. I thought he was a big time pottery expert in charge of museums and galleries. It’s probably his favorite shirt. I hate that shirt.
