2019 was a year of minimal articles here at Metta Cultura. I’ve had many ideas to write about, but not the energy nor the time to write them. You may see several back posts added later because my ideas will haunt me. In 2018 I had written twice as many articles than I did in 2019. This years views and visitors stayed consistent with last year. I had 21,000 views from 14,000 visitors again. Thank you to all my visitor and readers! I will write more next year. This 2019 year in review post is about the most viewed posts of 2019. Here are the top 10:
10. Drama Travel Spots: Good Morning Call: Our Campus Days
This post has fallen from number 9 last year to number 10 this year. I’m grateful that this is still in the top 10. This post took a ton of research. The post covers some of the places that the characters went to in the drama. Some of the places were difficult places to find.
Here are some other travel location I’ve written about in 2019:
9. Drama Review: Mischievous Kiss
One of my favorite dramas. I’m so excited that this one made the top 10. Sadly, it is the only post from 2019 that has made the list. It looks like I built a solid foundation in the previous year.
Check some other Japanese drama reviews I’ve written this year.
8. Oh My Ghost (2015) Drama Review
This one is another one of my favorite dramas. I’m excited that it has made the list. Last year when it was published, it didn’t get that much attention. I’m glad the post is getting as much as the drama deserves.
7. Poem: A White Rose
I’m actually pretty surprised that I had as many views about this poem as I did. I think some students may have had an assignment over it. In addition, this is not the only poem on the list. I found this poem in a book, White Rose.
6. Good Morning Kiss Manga Review
This one was number 5 last year and has been moved to number 6 this year. It is still going strong. This is the only manga I have on the list. Some other Manga that I have written about previously:
5. Poem: The Physics of Love
The Physics of Love is one of the most beautiful poem I have heard in a drama. I’m glad that it made a top spot. Another poem that I have written about is the Dandelion poem from Boys Over Flowers.
4. Drama Inspired Recipe: Milk Pudding
From number 3 last year to number 4 this year. The milk pudding recipe is the only recipe that is still on the blog. This year I have explore many different recipes. It seems like readers absolutely love this milk pudding, so here it is. Other recipes that I have made this year (and published):
3. Good Morning Call: Our Campus Days
This was number 1 last year. It has move up to the number 3 spot this year. Good Morning Call: Our Campus Days is such a good drama. No wonder it is still on this list.
Some other dramas that I’ve written reviews for:
2. Drama Travel Spots: Good Morning Call
This post has stayed strong at number 2. It was 2 last year and it is still 2 this year. The drama has lots of cool places to travel too.
1. Drama Travel Spots: Boys Over Flowers
This post has moved up from number 4 to number 1. The most used search term for people who read the article was New Caledonia with good reason too. My ignorant self didn’t even realized that it was a real places. I’m assuming others are the same.
Good Morning Call is still very popular on the blog this year. But I’m glad to see that there is more variety this year. I absolutely love it. The two poems are the most unexpectedly popular. For next year, I want to continue to have more variety and to write more often. Thank you for being a reader and I hope you continue to read my blog in the following year. Happy New Year!
